Gouagami? Origami?

ORIGAMI is the Japanese art form of folding and moulding paper into various 3D models. Common models depict wildlife such as cranes, frogs, elephants, flowers, trees, as well as the human form but also includes other objects such as stars, jewelery boxes, and toys. GOUAGAMI uses origami to model the forest and wildlife of the Goualougo Triangle of the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville). This includes gorillas, chimpanzees, elephants, duikers, various flowers, trees, and other elements of the forest. If you have any design ideas or have compiled a design (diagrams and video welcome), please email them to gouagami@gmail.com so they can be posted for all to share!

First origami for Gouagami!

Here is the first of many origami animations from Gouagami named '2 primates'. Please comment on whether you see something more specific such as chimps, baboons, etc. Click on the above image for a step-by-step animated diagram; a printout version of this animation will be available shortly.
